How are stainless steel signs made? Stainless steel is a special material, and its production process is much more difficult than copper and aluminum plates. However, it has good resistance to atmospheric and freshwater medium corrosion, and the decorative effect is very beautiful after corrosion, polishing, and drawing. Therefore, the fastest corrosion method for stainless steel is electrochemical corrosion, also known as electrolytic corrosion. Due to electrochemical corrosion causing ink to peel off during label corrosion, labels are not suitable for electrochemical corrosion, especially fine patterns. We have chosen chemical corrosion from the process factory here, where the main raw material for chemical corrosion is ferric chloride.

Rust steel belongs to the category of metallic materials. Rust steel refers to steel that is resistant to weak corrosive media such as air, steam, and water, as well as corrosive media such as acid, alkali, and salt. In practical applications, steel that is resistant to weak corrosive media is called rust resistant steel. Steel that is resistant to chemical media corrosion is called acid resistant steel. Due to the differences between the two, the former is generally resistant to chemical media corrosion, while the latter is generally corrosive. The corrosion resistance of rust steel depends on the alloy elements contained in the steel.

The basic alloying elements of rust steel, such as nickel, molybdenum, titanium, niobium, copper, nitrogen, etc., meet the requirements of various purposes for the microstructure and properties of rust steel. Rust steel is prone to chloride ion corrosion, and chromium, nickel, and chlorine isotopes are exchanged and assimilated to form rust steel corrosion. The corrosion resistance of rust steel decreases with the increase of carbon content. The carbon content of rust steel is generally lower by more than one to two%, and some steel Wc (carbon content) is even lower than 0.03% (00Cr-12).

The main alloying element of rust steel is Cr (chromium). Only when the Cr content reaches a certain value can the steel have corrosion resistance. Rust steel generally has a Cr (chromium) content of at least 0.5%. Rust steel contains elements such as Ni, Ti, Mn, N, Nb, Mo, Si, Cu, etc. Rust steel is prone to corrosion, pitting, rusting, or wear. Rust steel is a high-strength metal material used in construction. Due to its good corrosion resistance, rust steel can permanently maintain the integrity of structural components in engineering design. Chromium containing rust steel has high mechanical strength and extensibility, making it easy to process and manufacture components to meet the needs of structural designers.
